| Yalortism's sort of DEAD at the moment! I haven't even BEEN to this site in ages, and there's probably MOULD growing all over everything now! Ew! I might revive the site at some point, but for the moment I'm just far too busy with other concerns. So it's very unlikely that any applications will be accepted. So sorry about that. | |

| I've changed the Ranks around a bit. Basically, most of the old bigwigs have been knocked off their thrones because they'd died. Zefi was left because she shows up every so often, but I know the rest of them and am certain they won't be showing up again. Firequill's Supreme Aminal now, and though you people may or may not agree, I think she deserves the position. The ranks aren't based on anything like 'devotion to YALORT' or post count or the days one's been a member or anything so base or technical; they're based entirely on my personal preferrences. All of the people who've achieved ranks above Acolyte have been chosen by me because I liked them as people, and their respective ranks reflect how I felt about them, usually (except for perhaps Stormwing, who was a High Priest when I was a High-Priest-In-Training for reasons that are utterly irrelevant to what I'm going on about now so I shouldn't've mentioned it in the first place...). Firequill's a RATHER good, close, uh, friend of mine, so her position as Supreme Phoenix places her close to me on the rankings as she's close to me as a person (albeit not physically, alas! Unfortunate!). And since I have the power to do so and this IS my site, I can do that sort of thing! And did! Aye! Now, you'll probably want to all congratulate her for that. I mean, she IS a girl! Be nice to her and she'll probably be your friend or something, especially since you're all so great! Make sure you blatantly copy her mannerisms and use emoticons at her; she'll love that lots! | Uh, as you all may or may not have noticed, I've been totally inactive recently and stuff! The applications to the right there are building up! IT'S LIKE TOADALLEY CUH-RAYZY!!1! Anyway though... I know I sort of asked for this when I put a direct link to Yalortism in MARDEK, but... hm. The influx of new members and applicants is just too overwhelming! I've not been in any of the forum discussions because I just don't have *time* (what with making MARDEK 2 and other things), and... I don't have time to check any of the applications either. Hm. Also, I'm... not particularly FOND of the site having loads of new members... I know it says and implies everywhere that that's exactly what I'd want, perhaps, but it's just too... I don't know... I always preferred it when there were few members and everyone knew everyone else well, and new members were rarities that either left after a few posts or gradually became part of the group... Now, though, there are a whole bunch of colourless new members who I DON'T know, and because I don't know any of you I've got a whole lot less interest in actually *talking* to you... That, and I'm not really looking for people to talk to at the moment anyway for various reasons. I'm not even sure what I'm announcing here... Probably that I haven't been really checking the site recently and probably won't for a while either... at least until the flow of people from MARDEK dies down. And I'm certainly not including a link to this place in the NEXT MARDEK game... Also, HELLO! o_O | |

| If you want to join, have a look at the current applications and their respective scores. See which ones got a massively positive score and which ones got a negative score, and why? It's pretty obvious which sorts of people are accepted and which aren't. Also, if you apply at all, and get accepted, I'm not sure if you'll get sent an email (I don't know if the function for sending it automatically ever worked or not), so, uh... check back every day or so to see if you've got in? Approval of your application shouldn't take more than three days; most will be approved or disapproved quickly (within a day), probably. Thank you all for taking an interest though, even if the overwhelming majority of you are apparently insufferable generic morons who couldn't talk about the things appropriate for this place if you tried! ^_^ But at least if you DO manage to get in, you can feel special, eh? | |

| Hey, apparently I'm writing an article! For YALORTISM! It's been a while! Quite a while indeed! Yalortism's pretty much dead as it is, but it doesn't necessarily have to stay that way. It was like this last time, before I released SMECOF, but after I'd released that and it was distributed all over the internet, we got some new members who apparently stayed for quite a while! SMECOF was an inane, mindless game though, whereas MARDEK, which I just released a couple of days ago, makes you think more and appeals to those who care to read the dialogue, so perhaps a few interesting people will come here from playing that, maybe? I can but hope. If you are new here, don't be deterred by the inactivity! Attempt to join and chances are the place will become active again in no time! Yes, Yalortism can be REBORN! ...Perhaps. Make sure you have a look around though first so then you get to know what sort of place this is and whether you'd be welcome here before you try joining. | |

| The Forum links link to a different place now, again... It looks the same as the, uh, old new forum, but it's no longer linked to the Fig Hunter or ART.midi forums, so it's essentially a reincarnation of the first Yalortian forum... You have to be a Yalortian to post there... And stuff. Hopefully this'll make a better, smaller, closer community again, but chances are there'll be no changes to anything at all. If anything, there'll be less activity because no threads have been made yet. Bah. Uh... I don't know how well anything will work, exactly, because I've not had time to properly test things (and it's almost 7am and I've not gone to sleep yet, so that'll have to wait until tomorrow). So, uh, good luck? You can still post in the other forum, of course, but I'd rather you all moved to this new one. Oh, and this new one uses your Yalortian accounts; the seperate forum accounts are now 'Fig Hunter Forum Accounts' and have nothing to do with Yalortism. This means that you get worth for posts (or will when I add that tomorrow). Does anyone like or dislike what I've been doing? Comment? ...Or does nobody care yet again? | |

| Right! It's been ages since I've really paid much attention to the Yalortism site thing, but now that I've got quite a bit of free time I'll be changing that hopefully! I intend to rewrite most of the 'Yalortism lore' (Commandments, Holy Book, general non-community site content, etc) as I said before; I never had time before but now I actually DO. So! Look forward to that, maybe? I also might be somewhat more active in the forums, but that's not really worth mentioning here. Even though I, uh, mentioned it anyway. Yes. I'm going to try to link the forums to Yalortism more, too, maybe. So then things are sort of like they were before. But how can I go about doing that...? Either way, EXPECT UPDATES SOON!!! | |

| I'm attempting to do some things to make the site more like what it was before! For one thing, the message centres of Yalortism and the forum are basically linked. Entries in one will show in the other. For the most part. The ones relating to Yalortism specifically won't show up in the forum one, though. I'm also adding the ability to comment on userpages in the forum. And I've added little icons to each forum post which link to the Yalortim or ART.midi userpages too. So yes! It probably won't make much difference at all, but at least I'm trying! | |

| It's Talk Like a Pirate Day. ...Eh. I'm not even going to try, though. Also, the forums are, like, dead. Nobody's posting anything anywhere. That needs to change!!! ...Says I, without doing anything about it myself. Also, though I don't know why I keep talking about this in news articles, uh... I've been working on Deliverance quite a bit recently, and it's moving along nicely. I've added a whole lot more content than before, which is why I've not released an update even though I said I would. Now there are two towns and like four dungeons after the Crystal Marsh bit, as well as the whole redone start bit. So an update might be out soon. But I always say that and it's never true. But this time it is!!! ...Or is it? *Anyway*, I need to update all the Yalortism aspects of this site too, which I said I'd do a while ago but never did... Hm. | |
